I’ve always thought that investing the time to have a working knowledge of topics like sports, movies, politics, and various pop cultural references would be a huge waste, even though these are common conversational topics.

Yet, I spend hours on Wikipedia reading up on obscure non-conversational…

Had a wonderful meal at Blossom last night. Their Oktoberfest menu is killer.

Courses: 

Grilled Housemade Bratwurst
Sauerkraut, whole grain mustard
Paired with Yuengling Lager

Braised Veal Cheek
Yukon gold potato pancake, crispy leeks
Paired with Samuel Adams Octoberfest

Slow Roasted Chicken Breast
Creamy spaetzle, grilled asparagus
Paired with Holy City Pluff Mud Porter
